FELIX SPICER LAUNCHES HIS FIRST COLLECTION
Felix Spicer launched his
first collection of hand-printed fabrics at Decorex International
2006. The designs are based on and sourced from his personal
collection of 19th century French and Italian hair pins,
as well as his research into the design and manufacture
of the most exquisite and beautiful hair wear to be created
in modern times.
During the past 20 years Felix Spicer has
designed, upholstered and created exceptional and beautiful
interiors throughout Europe for both privately owned chateaux,
palazzi and estates, as well as for public interiors. He
has worked and dealt in antique and contemporary furniture,
textiles of all descriptions and papers of rare and incomparable
beauty.
This, the first collection, demonstrates his
expert knowledge of fabrics and his understanding of their
use in interior settings, using scales of the designs to
suit any style of furniture and interiors.
The designs are printed in London on linen
and cotton/linen of Irish or Belgian origin and manufacture,
which are dyed and finished exclusively for Felix Spicer.
Custom colouring of the designs to clients’ specifications
is available.
Wallpapers of new designs are now available,
produced from an
ever-increasing archive.
The designs are featured in the October 2007 issue of The
World of Interiors and IDFX magazines.
